Gulliver's Travels

2 — The Little People
Then something walked on my leg and up to my face. It was a little man, as tall as my finger. He had a bow and arrows in his hands. Forty more little men came after him. I was so surprised that I shouted. They all ran away. Later they came back. I pulled one arm free, and they shot many arrows at my hand and face. The arrows were like needles. I lay still, and they stopped. I showed them with my hand that I was hungry. They brought me meat and bread, and two big barrels of wine. Each barrel was like a small cup to me. The next day nine hundred men pulled me onto a very big cart. Fifteen hundred horses took me to their city.
